Kinsman Avenger
Kinsman Avenger
The shedding of blood but not intended
Manslaughter the verdict has been rendered
Make way to your city take flight tonight
A kinsman can kill you his bloodline right
A mistake an accident is the crime
Revenge is only a matter of time
A kinsman will kill you his bloodline right
Flee quickly, run swiftly from justice’s might
You run through the desert, his eyes burn a hole in your back
A footstep behind you - he lunges, prepare for attack
(Chorus)
Blood for blood, the right of the kinsman
Tooth for tooth, beware the kinsman
Kill for the family, revenge the bloodline
Life will be spilled and flow like wine
A mercenary’s calling in your hand
You’re to revenge the death of your clan
Even if by accident, your sister was killed
No rest for me, until revenge blood is spilled
Mount horses, run for the hills
He’s after you, ‘til your lifeblood spills
Get safely inside Sanctuary City gates
Or this law will seal your fate
You run through the desert, his eyes burn a hole in your back
A footstep behind you - he lunges, prepare for attack
(Chorus)
Blood for blood, the right of the kinsman
Tooth for tooth, beware the kinsman
Kill for the family, revenge the bloodline
Life will be spilled and flow like wine
So heed the border, dare not step outside
If you are found where elst the shadows hide
The kinsman waits beyond the city wall
And by his sword, the careless slayer falls
No blood-guilt rests upon the vengeful hand
If you forsake the safety of the land...
Until the High Priest dies!
Run for your life
(Chorus)
Blood for blood, the right of the kinsman
Tooth for tooth, beware the kinsman
Kill for the family, revenge the bloodline
Life will be spilled and flow like wine
